Sámi SDG Portal
The main focus in this project is to support the Saami Council, a Sámi NGO, to engage with the Sámi civil society in order to develop concrete next steps and recommendations on ways and means of enhancing the implementation of the SDG’s in a Sámi context.
The concept is to have workshops at the local level to inform Sámi community members about the SDG’s and how the goals apply to their everyday life.
The workshops also facilitate input from the Sámi communities and based on this input a strategic plan for implementation for the SDG’s in Sámi areas will be developed. This strategic plan will feed into the national framework on implementation of the SDG’s.
