The Nordic-Baltic 5G Monitoring Tool project has published its first analytic report, which provides an overview of the status of 5G roll-out and its industrial uptake in the Nordic-Baltic region. It highlights the transformative potential of 5G technology, emphasizes the need for collaboration and knowledge sharing to bridge digital divides, and provides valuable insights for shaping future policies and initiatives, consolidating the Nordic-Baltic region’s position as a digital frontrunner.

The report explores important aspects of 5G technology in the Nordic-Baltic region, including testbeds, policy initiatives, strengths, and challenges. It emphasizes the importance of cooperation and knowledge exchange between actors in the region to promote sustainable innovation and competitiveness.

The report serves as a valuable resource for policymakers, industry professionals, and researchers by providing an understanding of the 5G landscape in the Nordic-Baltic region and guiding the formulation of effective strategies and policies for harnessing the potential of 5G technology.
