Nikolaj Sveistrup is CEO and founder of URBAN AGENDA, a Copenhagen-based organization that provides ideas, assistance and new solutions for urban development, sustainable construction and strategic urban governance. Nikolaj is also an associate partner at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies and leads the URBAN FUTURE initiative. Nikolaj emphasizes that the cities of the future will be radically different from those of today. He has a large and broad knowledge of megatrends in urban development and has for many years had a strong focus on the 17 sustainable Development Goals and the management tools for its implementation. Nikolaj has a strong focus on sustainable regenerative urban development, including construction in wood, and leads development projects to promote the bioeconomy within the Nordic countries, Russia and the United States. Nikolaj also has a passion for bonfires and takes companies out into the woods and moderates conversations around the campfire.

Alberto Giacometti is a Research Fellow at Nordregio, an applied research organisation based in Stockholm, Sweden established by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Alberto comes from a long family tradition in the wood and forestry industries in Italy and South America. Through Nordregio, Alberto is active in the transformation towards a circular economy in the Nordic Countries, the Baltic Sea Region and Russia. He is also involved in promoting youth engagement around the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Mads Randbøll Wolff is the owner and founder of Bæredygtighed 2030 (Sustainability 2030) a small Copenhagen-based organization providing advice and solutions in the areas of sustainability, climate change, bioeconomy, and democracy. With more than 20 years of experience from public administration, international relations and advising he is dedicated to catalyzing societal changes that make us able to address the growing challenges regarding sustainable development, climate change and democracy. Mads has strong insight in public policy and administration in Denmark as well as the Nordic countries and Baltic Sea region and experiences from international cooperation. He is focused on the search for the link between the global challenges and the local opportunities and solutions. Mads has for a decade been involved in the ambition to increase the use of wood in construction as a tool to promote sustainability in the entire value chain from forest to buildings. As such he has chaired the advisory board for the Nordic Council of Ministers project Wood in Construction.

Nic Craig is an independent consultant working to bridge the gap between science, policy and business for the green transition in the Nordics. Nic has worked extensively with the low-carbon construction agenda at a Nordic level, managing the Nordic Wood in Construction Secretariat, a knowledge-sharing initiative to accelerate the uptake of Wood in Construction.
