Ogni Kairal LLC

Kairali, a settlement in the south-west of the Kola Peninsula, near the border with Finland. The company has been operating since 2000 and is engaged in logging, the export of timber and sawn timber, forestry waste (slabs, fuel chips and firewood), as well as the sale of its own sawn timber in the Murmansk region.

The activities of the enterprise have a serious impact on the socio-economic situation in the Kandalaksha district of the Murmansk region The forestry industry is the main provider of jobs. One of the main conditions for the functioning of the forestry sector in these regions is the stable export of its products to the Western European market.

When the enterprise was founded, they worked entirely for the country of Suomi, which is 29 kilometres away (compare: almost 400 to Murmansk). They sold raw materials, sawlogs - logs, pulpwood, firewood, boards, chips. Strong ties have been established with Finnish partners.

With an increase in customs duties, a change in customs rules, the proximity of Finland from an advantage became a disadvantage - they thought about the domestic market, redirected production.

Today the company supplies wood products with heat treatment, including assorted wood products, to its regular customers: JSC Kola MMC, PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, the Branch of JSC SUAL KAZ-SUAL - fastening details that are used for fastening (spacers, stops, shields) of cargo for the shipping of nickel. Small quantities of sawn timber are supplied to shipyards, and fuel chips are supplied to Finland.
